Just not my thing. It was painful to listen to the whole album. I feel like my high school band had better tone and talent than this attempt.

Never was a fan of Bruce's voice, or of his mainstream hits. I grew up in the late 70's/early 80's, so I was exposed to a lot of his music. This, however, surprised me a bit. I enjoyed the arrangements, the lyrics, and when Bruce sings the ballads, his voice isn't as painful to listen to; in fact I felt myself getting into it a bit, emotionally. Classic Americana Soft Rock. 3.

This is a quintessential psychedelic rock album; I just couldn't enjoy it as much , sober.
