What a start to an incredible journey. This is my first Pink Floyd album I'm hearing in full and it did not disappoint. The title track will always hold a special place in my heart thanks to covering it multiple times in dedication to someone important that passed. Shine On You Crazy Diamond and all its parts are monumental especially the buildup in the first parts to the chorus are magnificent. The other two songs equally hold their weight in grandiosity, and flourish this incredible album. Very much deserved to be so high in the all-time list on AOTY.
