Led Zeppelin IV
Led ZeppelinStrong opener. Noodly guitar work. I didn't realize how many classics are on this album. Why did middle school use stairway to heaven as a slow dance song?

Felt like three different albums. I could picture Tom giving out quests as the head of a circus.
Eclectic album, for sure. All over the place genre wise. Had pop, jazz, spoken word, drum and bass, etc. Great melodies. Not sure if it will be a regular returner but worth a listen through for sure.
I own this one on vinyl! Great to listen through, but has some stand out tracks. Enjoyable, but not my favorite by them. Does not seem to push a lot of boundaries.
While I can appreciate their influence on music as a whole and how different they were when they came out, it still did not overshadow how grating I find Lou Reed's voice. The music other than the vocals was enjoyable. I am well acquainted with vocals that are outside of the traditionally appreciated track, but Lou just doesn't do it for me.
Decent album, but not super adventurous. Not overly impressed. She has a really cool voice, but the guitar and lyrical content didn't blow me away. It could be the life experiences are different than mine. Solid playthrough and OK for background music. Non-offensive, but I think I remember her being an alternative darling.
Great beats and song structure, but I didn't get much from lyrics or vocals.
Some solid songs, but overall kinda meh for me
Solid album. Great nostalgia bomb. Songs are competent and well done, if a bit simple in their construction. Hard to separate out the nostalgia for the talent, although teenage me loved this album. Adult me enjoyed it, but there is a reason I dont return to this album like I do a lot of other bands from that era.
Dude has a decent voice but the album was so impossibly boring to listen to.
"Her ass is a spaceship that I want to ride" Not serious, but a fun album that mixes R&B and pop punk. Not super blown away, and I don't think I would return to it, but it was OK for the listen.
Very competent if boring yacht rock album.
Epic album with a hell of a crooner.
I thought the album had ended and Dolly came on when Coat of Many Colors played. Excellent album. Beautiful voice. Great guitar, steel guitar, and banjo on the album.
Perfect transition from 80s rap to 90s. Full of classics. Excellent album
Solid 80s early Indy/protoemo
Some excellent singles and a few hidden gems, but ultimately fairly straightforward. Great singing, but the musicianship was over produced
