Great music, but it doesn't resonate (yet).
Better than Beggar's Banquet. I would change the rating of that one to 3.
6/5
On first listen it is somewhat bland. Not bad at all, though.
In the late 2000's and early 2010's I had my indie phase, but Fleet Foxes never resonated with me. Too jangly and whimsical, I preferred Arcade Fire and The National and so on. A decade later I can say that my music taste has changed. What a wonderful album. Great harmonies, grand sounding without bombast.
No more Mr. Nice Guy!
Nice and agressive album. Ice Cube does not hold back on this one. Not completely my cup of tea, but the album is a strong statement.
Surprised to see Ginger Baker on this record when I looked it up. There are some nice jazz movements to be heard, but I don't hear anything stand out. There may be more to this artist, though.
This does not resonate with me at all. Not bad, but I feel completely meh towards this.
Fun pop album.
The singer's voice is somewhere in between Damon Albarn and Mark Knopfler. The music is a bit subdued even for indie, but that makes for mellow listening.
Classic. It surprisingly doesn't sound extremely dated.
This might be the definitive Neil Young album. I would give this 7 out of 5.
Chill album, captures the vibe of the period it was released in. Some songs are too short, but they don't overstay their welcome and leave me wanting more. :)
Not bad, but it also doesn't stand out. It's quite good actually, but it all blends together.
Yes
How many roads must a man walk down?
I wish I could give a 3.5.
