Songs are pretty and sad and not sad

Hotel Yorba was the first song I heard from the white stripes on the radio. I thought. "Okay, another indie band like The Strokes". Then I listened to the full album. The recording is loud and powerful, it hit me in the chest likeThe Stooges' Raw Power...just blew me away. The guitar is something special.

It's alright, the band is good at music.
