Perfectly fine for the 90s and I see the appeal, but it just didn't quite click with me. Still gets a 3/5 because of its impact and songwriting styles.
Gorgeous in certain parts, extra hippy-dippy in others. Overall a nice calm listen, but tough to really get into since it goes about as hard as a marshmallow.
Brooding and beautiful
Incredible. Johnny almost sounds at home and the crowd is in heaven.
While the harmonies are pretty and the whole thing just drips in melancholy lovey dovey talk, it is simply not a place that my head can get to. Maybe when i was in high school or in some darker times in college, but not today. Still, I get the appeal.

Incredible album. Possibly fueled by nostalgia, but their sound was unique and simple and just plain groovy.

Good old fashioned punk. Completely understand the impact and the groundwork that this album and band laid. Sadly, this type of punk has never been my cup of tea. All respect to the album though. I'd give it a 4 for pure merit and respect, but this is my list, so it gets a very strong 3.
Definitely the best Maiden I've ever heard. Less war/power metal and more just heavy metal. Instrumentation (namely the bass) was fantastic and the subdued and hardly used vocals were awesome.

The hits hit harder than most entire albums, so the parts that are a little weirder get pushed under the rug pretty quickly. Definitely enjoyable, but has flaws.
Great little tunes, nothing special, but nothing bad
Aside from Paper Planes and maybe 2 other songs, this entire album is garbage. truly annoying noises put over nonsensical lyrics. sounds like "thirteen year old's first time using fruity loops program" and feels even worse.
