The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Jul 29 2024

22 Acacia Avenue felt like the metal version of Roxanne by the Police, overall solid album. My fav track was definitely the last one “Hallowed Be Thy Name”

Jul 30 2024

well, when i saw this was the album i got super excited because “where did you sleep last night” is one of my favorite songs of all time. overall solid album, i always enjoy nirvana, but the best part about this album was easily kurt’s commentary

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
Jul 31 2024

sounds like the lumineers, fleet foxes, and mumford and sons. a couple of the songs i liked enough to add to my library, but a lot of them sounded super similar. however, i could totally see this band growing on me, especially in the fall

Tapestry by Carole King
Aug 06 2024

almost gave it a 5 just because of where you lead, but i liked this album because i feel like it had a decent variety of upbeat and slow songs. i also listen to melancholy female artists 60% of the time so this was right up my alley. i also really like her voice so that made this a good listen for me

The Visitors by ABBA
Aug 07 2024

2 or a 4 depending on what mood i’m in, hence the 3. best part of the album for me was “Cassandra” which is 100% about Cassandra from greek mythology so i enjoyed that, her story is so depressing so she really does deserve a song by Abba

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Aug 16 2024

every song sounded the same

Blackstar by David Bowie
Aug 20 2024

this album is what i imagine taking psychedelics to feel like, and i am positive bowie was under the effect of some sort of drug when this was written. i did really like “lazarus”, which made up for the fact that the first track made me want to rip my ears off. everything else was ok, they had moments of good and bad for me personally. i did love the transition between “dollar days” and “i can’t give everything”. honestly i was disappointed because i normally like bowie, but i didn’t like this as much as i thought i would. i might give it another listen to make sure

Parklife by Blur
