starts off with an absolute banger , early in the morning is sweet and so is without you, coconut is quite experimental but fun, might grow on me. Later half of the album is not as strong

a very snappy album , some of a lyrics are quite "adolescent". Buxler has gone nuts on the drums. In the Crowd , Fly and Mr Clean favorites

Beautiful Beautiful album , its got to be their most accessible album. loved the slight experimentation in almost every song. Fake Plastic Tears, Just , Blackstar, and Street Spirit favorites. Planet Telex was a great opening

kinda lost me in the middle , knopfler's guitar just whispers to you throughout the album and is sublime.so far away, mfn, brother in arms fav

Side A is sort of flawless, energy is top in the first four songs. Second half is there in bits and pieces but lacks the punch evident in the first half. When you were mine, money changes everything and girls just want to have fun favs

Entire thing is really stylist, needs a few listens to grow on you, very thumpy guitar all round with slight electronics thrown throughout

"pretty boy pop" , really fun especially the brass aspects but kinda forgettable due the weak lyrics and similar sounds throughout the album

if one piece is peak, the other is mid. Good album, even great at times, but it falls short of the god tier glam rock album I took this for in passing.

Not something I would usually listen to, just did not resonate with me.
