Incredible way to start this off. Bangers piled upon bangers on this album. Every song feels consequential, and I love almost all of them. 4.6/5

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Aug 23 2024

Very heartfelt and lyrical. I like the groove and message on Four Women and the jazzy feel of a few songs. To me though, sonically, it is definitely a product of its time, and i don't particularly feel it tries to do much new, especially considering other albums that were coming out at this time. 3.5/5

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Aug 24 2024

This album really didn’t do it for me. So many midtempo bores, and the lyrics felt meaningless. Vocals weren’t great. By 1968 standards, this album lacks any real sort of experimentation. Pretty poorly recorded and produced. 2.7/5

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Aug 24 2024

So fucking good ugh. One of the greatest songwriters of all time. 4.6/5

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Aug 25 2024

An absolute classic. Super soulful and sensual. 4.5/5

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Aug 26 2024

Rock classic. Great album front to back, but I prefer pink floyd’s more experimental records. 4.3/5

Aug 27 2024

Super high highs and a couple super mid mids. Bohemian rhapsody and love of my life are two of the greatest songs ever written, and that and some other greats elevate this to a 4/5.
