An alternative classicβ¦
Some iconic 90s song but nothing so original. Iβd give it 3 1/2 stars but the system does r work that way.
An all time favorite! I love the be bop / cool jazz period of the late fifties and early sixties.
True alternative! Weird for weird sake in the best way.
Itβs hard to listen to this and not hear the work that comes after. Judging it in its time and place is difficult. Itβs great music and classic U2 at this point. It just doesnβt have the punch listening back as it did at the time.
Probably their most iconic album in the sense that itβs ubiquitous in music culture. The tracks are solid if varied with several songs that have remained radio mainstays.
This album is an excellent example of cashes versatility and willingness to explore his craft as an artist.
Much of the music on this album is repetitive. If you like one song, youβll probably like them all. Psycho killer obviously gets the most attention because of its classic and enduring status but other than that, itβs listenable, but ultimately a little boring.
The voice is smooth and iconic. The music sounds like a lazy Sunday afternoon. My only issue with it is that it all sounds like a lazy Sunday afternoon. It could use a little bit of variety.
Exceptional! Alternative to the alternative of itβs time.
Very listenable but repetitive after a while. Lyrically a little tedious or little ingenious depending on your perspective.
One of their best.
