Foo Fighters
Foo Fightersthis is just.... fine lol all the songs blend into one another and they sound like every other foo fighters song, with some exceptions that have a bit more grit but even those end up sounding like Nirvana knock-offs

this is so good dude, I love the blues influence woven throughout, and as far as debuts go this was such a good way to show off the band's abilities. Plant's voice is absurd on this album, some of my favourite from him for sure
I think I screwed myself by listening to Remain in Light first because everything I hear from Talking Heads now will be compared to it. that being said I liked some songs on here, no doubt, but it's just more overall good rather than great to me
I've never been a huge fan of The Doors so I really don't have much to say, it's just not for me
I like the theming of this album and the messages therein, but I do find it a tad too long for my personal tastes. I also don't gravitate to some of theses sounds typically, although I like the way she meshed some of the genres together (even if it does sound a bit dated at times in my opinion).
I'm not sure why this album makes all the lists. Icky Thump and Elephant are superior, more cohesive and less repetitive.
this is definitely an album you throw on the turntable in the background of a game of cards while sipping whiskey or g&t, and sometimes that's all you need from a record
I didn't know what to expect but I quite liked this. I heard it's different from her previous stuff but to me it sounded good, sure it was melodic but I heard the rock edge and I loved it
man I fuck with this lol it's a ton of fun
*laughs nervously* what the fuck?
this objectively sounds really good, but I can't shake the feeling like I've heard a lot of these songs before in other albums - not saying it's derivative, because some of the comp titles I'm thinking of came after, but it's still a feeling that's bugging me, like there's nothing that unique about it. nonetheless, I think it's quite good
definitely not an album I'll listen to again all the way through but good for my music & music history knowledge no doubt
Simple Man is one of the best songs of all time but the rest of the album just doesn't hit as hard unfortunately. still good though
this was fine, some songs are catchy and vibe-y but a whole album of reggae definitely gets tiresome
this fucks, not all of the songs are equally as good but the bangers are true bangers. I can't get over how simultaneously 90s AND current this sounds
why did I think I hated Joy Division???? this is insane
this slaps, despite its length it never felt repetitive or sluggish and I audibly chuckled at several points. Ice T's mind is a wild place to be, A+
I'm sorry but this is just not it lol
