Pretty awesome album. I’ve probably heard every song on here before, but never listened to it as a whole. It’s amazing how many hits came off of this one record.

I’ve never really listed to Issac Hayes other than shaft I knew him from chef on South Park. I like this album as a concept. The songs are a bit long, but I understand the reasoning for it. I do tend to start drifting off when trying to listen to just music for that long I did recognize a song on here which was a pleasant surprise. This album isn’t slated to be one of my all-time favorites, but I definitely would give it another listen.

Just not for me.

I love it! Hurt Pierce’s your soul. Knowing Cash recorded this not long after June’s death makes it even sadder

No question, one of the greatest albums to ever be recorded. Listened on headphones for the first time. The production is incredible with numerous hidden little sounds peppered here and there.

It’s a pretty good album. Probably not worthy of its legendary status but a good album nonetheless, I really hadn’t heard much previously other than Seven Nation Army.
