RadioheadForgot how great this album was. Never forget when my brother turned me on to it.

Holy crap. This is over 50 years old and sounds fresh. How have I not listened to this before. I now understand why folks hold Bowie in such high regard. This is the third album in my project and hear this has made the project worth it.
Thing about albums is the transition between songs is unique. On this one, between tracks 1&2 and I instantly was back in college, drinking draft beer out of a red cup in a dingy basement.
Damn. I saw BB in like 2001 but to hear him in his prime… Now I know why he got the hype he got.
I know these albums are on here for a reason. This one’s obvious. I know the band has some shady history, but good lord the Freebird solo…
Was never a huge fan on the Police. Interesting to see this is from 1978. Thought it was from the 80’s
Sounds like generic 90’s alternative. Given this was released in 96, it’s hardly ground breaking. I suppose it’s someone’s favorite but a big “meh” here
Holy crap. I generally like country music and this was bad
I totally missed this era of music. Nice to revist

Felt like I was listening college radio in the 90’s.
Fun look back. Not my first choice, but I can respect the significance
Ever album on this project I think to myself "this is someone's favorite album". This is mine. Or at least my first favorite album of all time. This was the soundtrack of my senior year in high school and freshman year of college. It was acid house gone main stream and my gateway drug to early 90's warehouse raves in the Midwest US. I'm sure there are TONS of reviews on the cultural significance this album has, especially in the UK. (Watch the documentary on this band, Who Kiled the KLF, it's facinating) but I was so far removed from that and just listened to this on repeat. I literally busted out an old CD copy and found something to listen to it on.
If it weren’t for the Wikipedia description I wouldn’t have known who this is and would have chalked it up as generic punk. Cool to hear the birth of a genre
If you live anytime in Milwaukee, this gets engrained in you. Taking a fresh listen to this, it’s pretty good. Just overplayed in my sphere.
Surprised I liked this one. Not something I’d break out to put on in the background, but felt like I back riding in the back of my Mom’s 1975 Ford Maverick. This transported me back to the 70’s in the best way
My younger self would have loved the extremely experimental nature of this. Why this is one of the 1001 albums I must listen to, I have no idea, but generally enjoyed it, mainly because I used to seek stuff like this out.
Wasn't familiar with this particular Kraftwerk album, but as someone who discovered German industrial and techno music in the late 80's, I love hearing some of the origin story. While not on this album, one of the highlights of my life was listening to "Autobahn" while driving 200 kph on the Autobahn, driving from Berlin to Munich.
Reading the global reviews, man do people hate on 90's britpop (to be fair, the list seems to skew heavy on it). I liked this one. I recognized a few songs (the decade from 1995 to 2005 is sort of a sonic black hole for me as I was way too focused on growing my career).

(Ironically, due to a website snafu, I left this same review on a Madonna album)
This is something that I missed when it was released but would have loved at the time
I tried but nope. I don’t get it.
