Automatic For The People
R.E.M.Few stand outs songs, but the rest felt repetitive and hard to distinguish between them.

Biased because AC/DC is one of my favorite bands.
Enjoyed this one a lot. I like the old school vibe it had.
I enjoyed the upbeat nature of this album
I liked the music and enjoyed the back story / what the album was going for.
Overall really enjoyed the album, sounds like Queen with a robot voice megaphone. Album is long though and felt hard to get through.
Very emotionally deep album. Overall I enjoyed it.
Very groovy baby, yeah
I enjoyed this album over Automatic for the people. I feel like this album better represents the bands range while still having the same REM feel at the core of each song. I dig it and will definitely return to it in the future
This album feels very bland to me. Most of the songs sound the same, have the same content, and none of them pop out at me. It’s one of those albums I had to read the lyrics as I was listening to understand what the sing was about. I do appreciate the dark / sad tones and themes of the album. And the fact she is a good singer is one of the only redeeming qualities of this album.
Overall I m enjoyed this album. I like how the album starts off with Soul Machine line “He’s been given the power to take you where you want to go so start him up and tell him where you want” then proceeds to have a large variety of different soul based songs throughout the album. Only a few songs from the track that I didn’t like where I felt like the vocals clashed hard with the music and sounded like nails on a chalk board. Otherwise very solid album. Not necessarily an album I have a strong desire to return to but glad I experience it once.
I am groot
Cool sounds and shits.
Much more a lyrical listen than a musical listen. Not my favorite but I appreciate what it’s going for and why some may like it more.
Nice cozy album with a few stand outs.
I have realized after starting this project that I am not a fan of minimalist songs / albums. This entire album feels boring and repetitive. I can barely hear what the artist are singing which is supposed to be one of the most powerful parts of these kind of albums. Some cool beats but I also felt disappointed because I would hear some cool sounds that felt like they were going somewhere with a pay off but then would fall flat. The music isn’t bad per se but just not for me.
Solid Jazz track that I would put on in the background while doing something else but nothing that jumped out at me or moved me.
One of my more favorite electronic albums on this program so far.
Good old fashioned country music
This album slaps.
Very funky, I am a fan
This album feels like it would be to listen to if I was high. Not bad, but not great.
Very beautiful album, definitely makes me want to dive into his other music.
Decent listen but not something I would return to.
