1st Track Impression: Feels like this is about to be smooth and a bit funky (the afro is a hint too). Seems like a good-mood album. End of Album Impression: Good overall. Not really my style per-se but it's smooth, funky, and feel-good. 'Everyday People' feels a bit corny to me. Good message but feels like a kids' show jingle. Probably needs to be taken in context that this is a defining album, and the sound has since been refined and redone in other ways that make it feel redundant.
