1. heard blister in the sun before, it’s a song i actually have in a playlist or two. it’s pretty good.
2. pretty good, i like how it gets more intense as it goes on. a song i’ll def add to playlists in the future.
3. album is coming off a lot more acoustic sounding that i thought, thought it’d be more rock but i like it. please do not go is alright. just sounds like teenagers whining honestly.
4. i really like add it up, the instruments, the voice, the lyrics, the story, i love it.
5. don’t like confessions.
6. i like prove my love
7. promise is more rock like, i like it.
8. felt like twink death and birth at the same time
9. surprisingly loved gone daddy gone
10. good feeling is my absolute favourite from this album. i’ve heard it before and have always loved it so much<3
11. ugly is kinda like more of the music i like from the 80s.
12. this song is okay, randomly i really like the middle of this song but the rest is alright.
i’ve heard a few songs on this album before but i don’t think i realised just how long it is. it actually has my favourite outkast song on it, roses. i wouldn’t say i’m not a fan of hip hop as i’m kind of a fan of a bit of everything, but i did find myself worried listening to intro that i wouldn’t enjoy this album that much, but honestly by ghettomusik i was confident i actually would enjoy it a lot more. outkast, and this album, just has such a unique sound that mixed with their fast style rapping and vocal layering makes everything that should make you feel overwhelmed, feel calm. it’s one of those albums you don’t have to listen to the lyrics to like, you can just feel the music and enjoy it, and i love that.
this album was straight up incredible will be listening again
fan of green day, not boulevard of broken dreams. i have trauma w that song also why is my guy moaning in my ear during it pls stop and just play the music bro.
this album was alright. i felt like it showcased levi’s’ talent more than anything. didn’t like the beats or the repetitive lyrics but i can appreciate the talent and how beautiful his voice is.
was alright, it was a very calming album, but not something i’d listen to again.
it was alright. liked australia and victoria but not really anything else.
my first impression of this band is that they have a very interesting composition and that sarah cracknell has a beautiful voice. while some songs, such as wilson, weren’t my jam, i found the way layering they vocals and instruments, yet still keep the music sounding simple and calm very interesting. honestly reminded me of something they’d play in that cool underground bar that my dad takes me to. loved this album.
i’m sorry but i didn’t see what was so amazing about this album that i had to hear it before i died. nick drake is talented, but i could’ve died happy whether i listened to this or not.
