1001 Albums Summary

I would have never thought to click on this album and at first I was not found of it. My original Review over all was a 3. However, after hearing it on repeat it grew on me. Now after listening to it for more than a year I give it a 5. This in my opinion is the order in which I liked the songs. 1. I know It’s Over 2. Vicar In A Tutu 3. Bigmouth Strikes Again 4. Okay, this album was full of surprises for me. All my life, I believed the person who sang Fast Car was a white person. That was until I listened to this album. I found out it was Tracy Chapman who originally sang this song. Even after having realized that I was like, Oh, okay, it’s not a white guy, but a black guy who sings it. Can I say that this album was good, but I won’t seek it anymore.? I enjoy her soothing voice and the melody of the songs.
