1001 Albums Summary

I have listened to this before. I can recognize its significance in music history and how it was the “first” concept album and I can appreciate the vocals and harmonies in the background, songwriting and their style but personally I did not like it very much.

I listened to zombie a while ago and I liked the political message behind the project. This album was more focusing on jazz/afrobeat vibes and not as lyrics. Liked the first song but the rest seemed to blend together.

Like the word play and use of internal rhymes across lines and within the same lines. Some nice mix of hip-hop, funky and R&B sounding beats.

Didnt listen to the full thing because it’s loke 3 hours long but liked the vibe of most of them, great voice

I think I liked her album when the pawn... better but, not a bad album

Funky guitar riffsmatched with awesome basslines, upbeat drums that all work together with the lead singers vocals. Arctic monkeys are such a fantastic band. Only reason not 5 stars is most songs when I skimmed the lyrics were love songs and not bad lyrically but if they had better word play/ meaning
