Absolutely magnificent collection of songs ! Some of the very best work of the Stones, in a legendary and heart-breaking context that fueled the songwriting talent of the Jagger-Richards duo.
Great album, really showing how he retained the authenticity from his early days in Simon and Garfunkel and grew as a songwriter, composing more complex and interesting songs about even the simplest of subjects. Also great because it marks a beginning of his move towards world music with interesting rhythms and sonorities
I genuinely don't know what this is doing on this list. The songs are generally enjoyable but this feels like a mashup of different styles in a way that aims at nothing more than being mainstream. It's not bad, but no one is greatly missing out by not listening to this album.
Pretty great ! Very 60s in every sense it could mean. This album sounds good, the songs are catchy and they remind me very much of what I love about every other band of that time (Beatles, Stones, Beach Boys, Animals).
Not at all convinced by this. It's okay, but it seems to be at a crossroads between art rock and psychedelic music and not knowing which direction to take. Overall, it's neither much fun nor much of a slap in the face.
So cool ! This album is great, and T.Rex's sound is awesome. The crunchy riffs, the quick-paced rhythms, the harmonis ! I absolutely love this album.
Not a fan of Hip-Hop, but this was ok.
It was okay? Nothing crazy but equal to himself
Absolutely incredible album, a serious contender for the best album of all time ! Dylan going electric for all to enjoy forever !
Pretty good, of course with Elton John this isn't surprising. A bit long and dragging at times, but it might just be because I'm not used to songs over 5 minutes anymore.
Not a huge fan of this kind of pop music. It's of course extremely famous and loved by a lot of people, just not me.
