1001 Albums Summary

A little too grassroots / bluesy for my taste, very stripped back production, but theres a couple of good songs on here I would pick out. Highlight - Riders on the Storm

An interesting album, that bounces between Prog Rock experimentalism and more mainstream rock and roll. Best song - The Camera Eye

Being hit with two songs over 10 minutes to start and close the album is a bold choice, Walk On By manages the length far more than the spoken word sections of By The Time I Get to Phoenix.

They were right, this is a great hiphop album

A moody album, of its time, but very strong.

Listened to the first couple of songs, its fine but not really grabbing me, might be the late night listening hour

I like it, but to go with the concept, it does feel like it sprawls a little itself and could have used a couple of cuts

Yo maybe reggae is actually really good

First half of pretty standard 60s rock n roll tunes, then the second half turns into a psychadelia story-tale with The Secret Service man. Still pretty good though.
