Reign In Blood by Slayer

Like okay, It wasn't as bas as I thought I'd be sure but that wasn't a high bar in the first place. Idk what the vocals/lyrics were supposed to be. Having Pantera and Sepultura come up next didn't help much because that means the singing doesn't HAVE to be ass they just chose so.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Jan 14 2025

Not a huge fan of skit era rap but this is a damn good album

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jan 15 2025

he still definitely touched those kids

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Jan 17 2025

God, that title track is terrifying. I didn’t realize how accessible these guys were, like I’ve paranoid and such but damn this is great

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jan 18 2025

a few skippable track here and there, not sure if I'd ever put this n

Dry by PJ Harvey
Jan 19 2025

I didn't have any expectations of what this would sound like as I am not familiar with PJ Harvey, but man I can feel something listening to this. Its not super interesting sonically though its grungier than alot of the "Indie" stuff I typically listen to

Fire Of Love by The Gun Club
Jan 20 2025

Much stronger B side imo, the rock/punk blues fusion is very apparent, Im sure was revolutionary for its time but would prefer something much more melodic personally

Jan 21 2025

I actually really like music like this, though I hardly ever listen to it. The story telling always makes it feel like an action movie. As an album, it's not coherent but thats to be expected for 1959. I will certainly explore this sound more

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jan 22 2025

I think I listened to this 6-7 times before finally reviewing it. Solid work from Ol' Blue Eyes

Jun 15 2025

Fits really well with the Indie stuff I listen to and holds up well for an album thats my age.
