The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan
Loved the world-building, poetry of the lyrics and the snarky/salty personna that occasionally comes through. Long album, and tracks feel same-y after the first third. Not a fan of the high pitched, long harmonica solos. Skipped the last 4 songs.

Coat Of Many Colors
Dolly Parton
This album is quite a roller-coaster thematically- poverty, prosaic and innocent delights, insecurities and loyalties in love, salacious and inappropriate sexual dynamics, mother-daughter bond...oh my.
These complex issues and emotions are given clarity by by rather simplistic lyrics. Parton is not Dylan or Swift but an excellent narrator nonetheless.
Melodically the album is consistent with enough variations in styles, moods and rhytms to make it engaging and enjoyable.

Fun ride from start to finish. No need for polite and sombre analysis, the vibe was immaculate.

Yes
OK only. Enjoyed the virtuoso instrumentations but as a lot of prog rock records the songs aren't particularly memorable.

Minus one star for failure to feature the contributions of other singers in the title track.
