this album is as though an orchestra made a rock / indie album. holes is a sick opening track, i also liked goddess on a hiway

feels a bit emotional and sometimes a bit resentful. flows nicely but has that 90s london sound & feel. the more you ignore the closer i get & hold on to your friends are the best ones on the album

rhythmic and passionate brazilian record. the percussion is what gives this album its energy. sounds like the soundtrack of a latin american movie in the 70s. seems like it’s an underrated classic. xica da silva is my pick

this is basically an old chap just chirping over some late night jazz. his voice has a distinct, smoky, laidback tone to it. eggs & sausage and both of the “spare parts” songs were the highlights. honestly felt like some songs on the album were too long, and it felt like he lost direction at one point

my fav coldplay album. saw them live last month and it really made me listen to more coldplay, as i wasn’t as big of a fan before. this record is a classic and has aged rlly well. of course yellow is the most iconic song, but sparks and don’t panic are also fire. just an easy listen. hard to believe music like this is 25 yrs old
