Stankonia
OutKastSolid album; somewhat disjointed with the non-sequitur interludes, however the three singles are still relevant plays. Lots of guests and cooperations.

First time listening to this album in its entirety. Recognized a few songs, some deep cuts. overall okay, but a couple tunes didn’t hit the mark for me, personally.
Some vintage mid-60s pop. A couple deep cuts, otherwise fairly average.
Some nice, easy listening. I’ve always enjoyed jazz and the piano, so i quite enjoyed this listen. But I found it lacks the flair of a Dave Brubeck style album.
My first listen to this Bowie album. Prior to this listen, I had never made the liaison between Bowie and Franz Ferdinand (the band), but it is evident with this album.
I can see how this would have been cool in 1993, but Blur has put out better stuff since this
love the album. love the noise, the melodies, all round fun! good times!
A quasi funny Thin Lizzy story, in my teenage years (mid-90s), a bunch of would crash cottage parties, steal beer and try to blend in (to steal more beer). One successful night of blending in, got to chatting with an inebriated 30-something. We chatted about music and beer mostly, but we went on and on about Thin Lizzy and how awesome they were as a band. At the time, I only knew a couple songs of their songs. Cue this listen. I see where that drunk 30-something was going; this album captures the band’s prime. A fun listen.
Wasn’t my genre in the mid-90s, but I appreciate the beats, cadence, and lyricism of it now.
classic!
very cool aound. they don’t produce albums like this anymore. Rich bass lines and well crafted songs.
First listen to this album. As I’m a living human being living in North America, I’m familiar with the title track - one of the few songs I’m willing to sing (horribly) at Karaoke. The teat of the album was new to me. No duds, but no stand outs. Overall an easy listen.
This is an album I didn’t get into at the time. I enjoyed the songs I hward, but wasn’t an album i purchased, being in uni at the time available funds were spent on other vices. Definitely some cools songs and remains cool nearly 25 years later.
a gift that keeps on giving. every listen reveals another gem.
Classic. Some epics sounds and a great blend of the heavy, the melodic, and the intricate.
Contemporary 80’s overproduction. I can’t
