Interesting how I don’t really know this record other than the single “Heroes “ considering how well I know his other work. Hearing a lot of timbres from Eno’s Another Green World. Sons of the Silent Age kind of reminds me of early Bowie, unadorned vocals and narrative. Interesting layered vocal harmonies throughout.

I know it's supposed to be saccharine coffee shop music but I really love the intimate tone and casual feel of this record. Kind of reminds me of Dusty Springfield.

Insistent funk, obviously a strong influence on Talking Heads, and has a heavy history. Really great.

Absolutely love it... feels warmer and more human than some of their previous records though I'ave also loved their clinical feels.
