High Violet
The National
classic, timeless
not a big fan, i understand the appeal but its not for me
Arguably one of the best R&B/Soul albums. Influenced so much of the genre, timeless.
surprised at how much i enjoyed this album. added a few songs to my library, listened beginning to end and never considered turning it off. simple, catchy, easy to listen to.
Very VERY controversial opinion but i enjoy sheryl crow. That being said, i understand the disdain for her. When i look at her music objectively, i see it as catchy pop-rock. (if you could even call it that) Not a deep listening experience, no crazy vocals, just lighthearted, surface level pop, good background music. I’ve always thought that she’s a good mix of Gwen Stefani and Shirley Manson
funky and weird, but scratched an itch in my brain that i didn’t know needed scratching. it’s truly a listening EXPERIENCE 4.5 easy
it’s not for everyone but i really liked it. has a weird, progressive rock/jazz sound. use of the violin, wind and piano was audibly pleasing to me
One of my favorite albums of all time. i got through the whole discography at least once a month. his first album to hit the charts in every continent. every bob marley album will get a 5 from me
never gets old. genre defining album, not one bad song.
buggin out, butter, scenario, jazz, rap promoter, so many great songs on this album. classic tribe beats and great vibes. my favorite project from them. wish we could do half stars. 4.5
my favorite album from all of his discography.
didn’t move the needle much for me, but i understand the appeal and appreciate the talent
