I never know how to feel about the Smiths. Sometimes they have really catchy and interesting music going on, but Morrissey just constantly wailing away in the saddest voice just takes me out of it. The music itself saves this album form being a 2/5. 3/5 Highlights: Paint a Vulgar Picture I Won't Share You

John Fruciante's tone makes me want to get rid of my strat. Highlights: Purple Stain Road Trippin

I went into this one thinking I was not into Peter Gabriel. But I really enjoyed this one. Some slow songs but the groove was there the whole time. Highlights: Sledgehammer In Your Eyes

I think I was expecting something more for how much I've heard about this album. I liked it well enough but it was sort of underwhelming. If this is a 3/5, its a high 3/5. Highlights: Wouldn't It Be Nice Lets Go Away for a while

This was a weird but great album. It only got better as it went on. Highlights: On Some Far Away Beach Some Of Them Are Old Here Come The Warm Jets

Very fun soul funk album. Had fun all the way through.

I actually enjoyed this album a lot more than I expected to. Rolled my eyes when I saw it was the wonder wall album. But I actually pretty much liked it all the way through, with a few exceptions. Highlights: Don't Look Back In Anger Champagne Supernova Hey Now!

I love Prince but this album feels more inconsistent to me. I still like Dirty Mind and 1999 much more than this one. But he two big songs on this are some of his best. Highlights: When Doves Cry Purple Rain

Its hard to rank something like this. Do I appreciate it? Yes, but would I listen to this on my own a ton? Not so much. I have no context really to even rank it against its peers.

Listening to a lot of 80's recently, but this album didn't do it for me. I liked some oft he funkier stuff, but I kept looking at how many songs left, and that's not a good sign. Highlights: Like A Prayer Love Song

Just a straight hour of new wave synth. Slightly repetitive at points but it was a fun listen. Highlights: Complex Random

My favorite of his since Dirty Mind.

This album grew on me as it went on. I think I'll really enjoy it after repeated listens.
