1001 Albums Summary

I think this was way more impressive back then than it is now. Production is amazing and some of the songwriting is good. The opener and the closer are the famous diamonds of the album and of course they are amazing but changes was the most pleasant suprise in there. Generally the album goes up and down in almost every song make it pretty inconsistent . Decent album in total though about 7-7.5/10.

God damn i expected this to be a decent album. But no this was extraordinary. To describe this album with two words: Tom Morelo. This man does everything in this album and gives some of the most consistent and amazing guitar performances I have ever heard on an album. About a 9/10.

Definitely not an album made for me to hear. It definitely has it moments but not something that I enjoy nor really like to hear. Probably for who it refers and what it tries to do it's fantastic but yeah. I would give it around a 6/10.

Most of the songs were listenable with the exception of 2-3 songa that werw really good. Not really much to say other than it was ok. The bonus track version of suspicious minds here is amazing. About a 6/10.

Starting this one by saying that this is for me the most overrated metal band ever and it's not even close. And from the 3 albums of them that are considered great this one is probably the worst one by far. Because if not of the very few great songs in here, wvery other song is complete garbage. Most of this album's songs don't even have the Metallica song saving point, which is the amazing riffs. Lastly I will die on the hill saying that their records have the worst production I have ever heard. About 4-4.5/10

Until today, I thought this albmu was bad. That changed of ciurse for the first time I enjoyed the instrumental songs of the second half. Still not the greatest album of bowie for me, and probably the only one without a clear masterpiece. With all that said even a just good album of bowie is about an 8/10

Hearing this album for the first time finally after so many years i wanted to. At this point I probably knew almost everything I could avout this album in every way. Obviously I liked this one a lot and I think the one thing that make people talk bad about the album is what I really loved. I loved the way that after one slow beatiful tack of either Stevie or Christine there was that more creative and in my opinion amazing song written by Lindsey. That contradiction between all those songs makes this album very great for me. I really should relisten to rumours because I think I would like it a lot more now than I did two three years ago. Tusk yhe self-titled somg might be my favorite fleetwood mac song. Yeah amazing all around and a very unique record. About 8-9/10.

I don't think anyone can hear this in 2025 and actually think it's something great. Except the opener that is obviously the best one, this album is just outdate blues rock . Honestly I can't wrap my head around the fact that beatles were even compared with this band. I really wanted to make that statement. If the album has anything else in it's favor is the amazing production but that's not enough to make this good. A star for the opener and a star for the production so about a 2/10.

I mean of course this wasn't the first listen of this album. This is one of , if not the best singer songwriter album of all time. Every song is so simple and so beatiful and as usual in Elliott's discography very depressing music. Not only the album has amazing songs as I said but in addition it has between the bars. Like that song is just up there in the all timers category. First 9.5-10/10 in this 1001 albums challenge.

I'm not that familiar with electronic music, yes I like some very specific things of it I have heard in the past. But I didn't expect this album to be this amazing. About an 8-9/10.

Amazing album with consistency. Every song was at leats good and the lyrics are just on very high level. About 8.5-9/10.

It has 3 classics and one good suprise but the rest is pretty bad. About 4/10

Don't really need to say a lot because this is just the best rap record of all time. Also pest production ever. Very easy 10/10.
