Im going to relisten to this when i need to lock in with my dissertation. Because the drums do hit but they also hit a little random when your on the train home from london after a pint.
Highs and lows on this album, probably would’ve been higher if it had more consistency/didnt love the slow tracks. Still found myself foot tapping through first 4 tracks
Typically like 90s rap, but this was like eating a meal that tastes bad… you wanna finish the plate but you gotta force swallow to get it down.
Timeless, will always be great

What’d you expect from a stones album. Good blues, good to listen to so that i’ve got it under my belt. Good to move on afterwards as this sound isnt ground breaking for me with a history of blues music. Favourite track: Going Home
I try to listen to these albums while i work. It was work to listen to this album. Plus its not available on Spotify so i had to select each song individually off live albums. Overall tough day
Maybe if i was more sad i’d enjoy this album, still a handful of good tunes
Pretty classic album definitely deserves to be on a shorter list of albums you must hear. Favourite song: i wish
Overall okay to good, already knew the classics. Kinda hate born in the usa and dancing in the dark. Dont think the album had a bad song by any means but token Americanism probably put me off the sound. Found the drums a bit boring as the project went on but understand thats the springsteen structure. It gets a “its alright, I understand how people like it” rating from me, probably wont go back for a full listen again.
If folk music is your thing I’m sure you’d like this. Enjoyed the melodies and composition of the instruments, didnt feel connected to the vocals at all. 1001 albums starting to feel like i only need to listen to about 500 of these albums
A couple good songs in there, a couple songs i wish i coulda skipped. More of the latter.
Solid 90s dj set nothing else to it
A true artist, this generation of soul singers it’s better to listen to the live album to truly understand greatness
Psychedelic, actually thought it was pretty good
Good album kinda is what it is
Got through this album and didnt once stop to see the name of a song, good thing it bad thing?
