Bad by Michael Jackson
Mar 28 2025
Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Apr 07 2025

A spectacular album, by a stellar line-up of musicians.

Fragile by Yes
Apr 10 2025

I know Yes have a stellar reputation, and that this is supposed to be one of their best albums, but it really isn't the sort of progressive rock that does it for me. To be fair, there are only a few broadly prog rock bands that do (King Crimson, Soft Machine, Pink Floyd, Mahavishnu Orchestra, some Hawkwind)

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Apr 14 2025

It's a good album, if very much of its time. Not that that's a shortcoming - it's what gives many works of art their poignancy. And any album that contains both "Almost Cut My Hair" and "Woodstock" is destined to have some sort of place in the history books.

Abbey Road by Beatles
Apr 22 2025

It's ok overall, with some very good individual tracks, but I've never been a big Beatles fan.
