1001 Albums Summary

Enjoyable listen. Bass gently thumbing in the back of your head, and marleys and the backup singers impeccable synergy makes for a good late evening listen. Repetitive at times, but this may not be a problem once in the “zone”.

Odd, ugly and weird in the Best possible sense.. reminds of Mr. Bungles ‘California’. Kind of gives this Vibe between happyness and paranoia. Solid listen.

I did not find this album very inspiring. Bowie has made a lot of classics throughout his time, But this album seems messy and his narrating-like singing and poet-like lyrics are too pretentious for me.

The Best country album i heard yet. Interesting timings and progressions. A short at Sweet listen.

Janis Joplins raspy voice works wonders in certain conditions but becomes a bit much over a full album. Interesting listen but not something I would return to.

The whole album captures more or less the feeling of road trips. The sound I simple and consistent throughout and conveys a feel-good attitude. Seems like this more or less set the sound of indie rock music for that century. Following up with bands such as Arctic Monkeys and Cage the Elephant.

Feel-good gammeldags rap før mumble rap og andet gøgl.

Første halvdel lyder som generisk Offspring uden der sker ret meget. Så når man over halvvejs og så rammer alle deres hits. Det opvejer en smule, men den første del af albummet gør den fulde oplevelse lidt mere kedelig.

Kedeligt og ensformigt. Jeg kan godt forstå, at det er relativt godt for sin tid, men for mig er dette album ikke besværet værd
