This is the album with higher ground on it. The more instrumental jams are good, definitely a product of its time.

His voice is amazing and the lyrics can be surprising in a fun way. Recognized a lot of parts of the instrumentals from sampling or just recreating iconic riffs. The spoken narration was a lot.

Just realized the version I listened to is not in order but surprisingly I found myself listening to most of the album a few times. I enjoy the African rhythms and the quality of the engineering is great. A surprise.
