1001 Albums Summary

Good album, definitely not my favourite. I was probably frustrated a bit too because I signed up for this project to broaden my horizons, but I get this one as first (again, not that I don’t like it, but i’ve heard it named “greatest” and recommended everywhere) and it was underwhelming to see it once again.

It had such a captivating energy from the beginning, that I got mad when it got interrupted by a phone call and started again from the top, so that I can live through it from start to finish. This is an album that I’ll listen to from start to finish many times with no skips.

Completely subjective opinion - not my vibe, I barely forced myself to finish it. I’m still giving two stars, because I’m keeping the one for the ones I can’t even finish, but I’ll neither remember or listen to the album again.

Liked it, I wasn’t crazy about it though. I would play it again as a background, but nothing stood out from it, apart from Africano.

At one point while listening, I asked myself “wait, have I accidentally pressed the repeat one button?”. Turned out than no.
