Hard to tell what era this was from. It's got a sort of neo 60s psych pop sound. Great rhythm tracks, and a bit of variety. I liked it, would return
Fantastic jazz album. I can't believe I had never listened to Count Basie, but he's here to stay in my repertoire!
Hey, it's that song from high-school sports! Put this album on to exercise, or if you otherwise need to feel like a cool-guy.
This is clearly innovative for it's time, but I could not get into the sound. Just kind of flat, boring, and a little annoying. I've been listening to Balanscu Quartet plays some of the pieces for years. It was neat to hear the originals, but I prefer their versions.
This is, without competition, the worst album I have ever endured in its entirety. A master class in ugly drum tracks which were justified only in how perfectly they matched the rest of the sound. Why was it so long? From the first seconds I was eagerly awaiting the end and it just kept going.
There is nothing fantastic about this album, but I did love it!
