short classic rock-n-roll from the 50's. generic PG fun
Great album, more early british-metal sounding than I would expect from queen
It just wasn't very enjoyable.
Solid album, probably one of the best rock operas.
Never been a big fan of Tom Petty; listening to the whole album kinda confirms it for me. Maybe one or two enjoyable songs.
Listened to this once through as background music, went back to some of the songs and I think I will probably be going back for more in the future. Torn between a 3 and a 4, but since it's my first time listening to a full Nina Simone album, I think it deserves to be elevated.
I recognized a few songs on the album, since they get used in a lot of media. I feel bad rating it lower than Nina Simone's Wild is The Wind, but I feel I like they both sit on the fence between 3 and 4 stars.
I didn't dislike it, but also didn't really enjoy it. Better than Tom Petty, worse than Elvis
What's there to say that others have not? Solid album. No complaints
I didn't realize that I'd heard many of the songs on this album, either in passing or because they were used by some tv show or movie I'd seen. Sounds like early punk music with a mix of older influence from the 60's. May check out some of their other albums.
I didn't want to like this one as much as I did. I've always been a Led Zeppelin fan, but for various reasons I've never really *liked* being a Led Zeppelin fan. Either way, listening to one of their albums again reminds me that even though there's a lot of reasons the band kinda sucks, they're still pretty damn good.
Generic alt rock. More artsy sounding than the strokes was. Generally more enjoyable also, but less memorable than an album that deserves a 3
Decent ambient sounding electronic music. Good for background listening, reminded me of a movie soundtrack. Will probably check out the artist's other albums.
Never really listened to much david bowie, and I went into this wanting to enjoy it, but I just didn't really get it. It wasn't unpleasant, but none of it was very memorable. There was maybe one or two songs that I was vibing with while listening.
This was fun. 3+
I liked this one more than I wanted to admit. One of the few albums I have come back to in this list so far.
I have been listening to this since I was in high school.
