I would subtract a half star for Kanye’s involvement if I could.
Impressed at how few tracks I knew from this album. Sweetest Devotion is a banger, instantly my favorite song on the project.
More like 1.5 stars. Too bouncy for me, it’s like the Beatles but with way less charm.
I like the wall of sound this album brings. Feels chaotic but structured. The vocals are silly and fun too. Strong album.
Obviously influential, cool album. I like how the pain and longing of the music just washes over you. My only issue is that Clocks is so much better than all the other songs that I only want to listen to that.
I love when this project makes me listen to albums containing songs I already liked. Ball and Biscuit is a great track, but I hadn’t really heard the rest of it. Stripped back and kind of weird!
Sick riffs babyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I like how you can mentally fall in and out of this kind of jazz. I don’t know if it’s me or what the artist intended, but I partially engage with it until a chord or melody draws me back in. It’s a more rhythmic way to listen to music than how I frequently do.
Wonderful. Seems like a product of time gone by (which it is). I loved the transition from Skin Deep into the crowd almost rioting - talk about something that would never happen in 2025. Blues to Be There is my favorite track.
I listened to this with Jordan, he poisoned me against it. I just spent the whole time laughing. More like 1.5 stars.
Fine, didn’t really wow me. Some riffs were nice, but I was mostly waiting for it to end for some reason. Probably more to do with me than the album.
Love the Latin flair. Just a great vibe overall.
Cool folk/rock album. I think this style is more in line with what I usually listen to.
