Pleasant enough, just right for some easy background music. I'm not a fan of bossa nova but did not mind this particular album which probably means it's better than most in its genre. Note: recording is of excellent quality, truly an audiophile-grade album.
Not really my type of music. It's good for what it is I guess but it's too "American" for me and, frankly, boring. I started listening quite loud but kept lowering the volume which is quite telling.
Just not my cup of tea. Maybe not a bad album altogether but certainly not something I would play for myself, nor would I recommend it to a friend.
Good album, hard to find a weak song, plus two famous hits. I enjoyed it.
Emotionally heavy. Beautiful in the same way some funerals are beautiful. Definitely not easy listening, touches difficult issues. Too heavy for me.
Not my times, not my music. Apart from The Figurehead I failed to make any connection with this music.
Even though it's totally not my genre I had to appreciate the sheer raw energy of this album.
Solid album, however lacking a really standout song.
Very pleasant album, perfect for a cozy evening (or indeed as a lullaby).
I love it, still charms. And California Streamin' is such a banger.
I put it on at night, before going to bed. What a mistake.
Interesting, though ultimately not my thing.
Considering I don't like indie rock this is pretty good.
This is what I imagine AI would generate it I asked it for an album that is the least offensive to the most people. It's easy to listen to but incredibly bland and lacking any stand-out features. It's hard to even tell the songs apart. It's not dog-shit bad so I was considering giving it 2 stars but I can't honestly rate something this mind-numbing any higher than 1.
Great album. I did not know The Rolling Stones very well before so I was surprised by this catchy blend of blues, rock and rock'n roll. The only critique I could possibly level at it is that it lacks any "hit" songs. On the other hand, it has no weak points either.
Talking Heads weird me out for some reason. I tried giving them a listen a few times and the result is the same as it is with this album - I feel like I'm listening to a band made of psychopaths and murderers. Don't ask me why.
Maybe at some point this album was noteworthy for some reason but today it feels unoriginal and boring. With cover songs sometimes an inspired vocal or amazing arrangement can lift it above the ordinary (and indeed above the original) - sadly, neither happens here.
Very strange album, I'm not sure what to make of it... Not really my thing
