1001 Albums Summary

Once a favorite that now sounds a bit stale after too many listens. Valuable for its influence on other artists. The Musique Concrète was fun and the Indian flourishes were quite enjoyable.

Catchy, forgettable radio hits and some filler. Calculated music for calculated people. It’s like the shirt that looked cool on the rack at the mall but fell apart after the first wash.

A pompous early effort. Fortunately not the super deluxe edition. Shining, flying, purple wolfhound…eh? Some good ideas here and there but they don’t come together well. Sounds a bit like CSN in some of its folkier moments. They get it right a couple albums later but they’re not there yet.

80s top 40 dreck. The prog element is interesting, not good though. Spiffy sweaters.

Kinda cheesy but not terrible. The hits a little annoying. Would give it 2.5 stars.
