So
Peter GabrielI regret not giving him a chance earlier. This is shaping up to be a great album. It has that nice unmistakable 80's sound. I sense this might require more listens to really stick, but I like what I hear.

It all had to start somewhere. It's bluesy boogie woogie, and almost every song sound the same. I got through it, and will probably never listen to it again.
Great songs, good variety. Good times.
First album where I went in completely blind. It's a pool of genres, mainly groovy funky stuff. Had me nodding and restlessing my legs. Wish I could downgrade my Little Richard score, cause it's way too high

Never really got into Prince. Giving it a shot. Not a fan of the extreme use of all 80's sounds. Halfway through the 1st disc I started to get bored and wantes to check reviews, cause clearly this can't be a good album!? Pitchfork forking out a 10 for this? Why? This is boring as shit. I will listen through the whole thing, but man, this will be tedious. I'm finally done. My initial view didn't change. Prince is overrated
Great album, but I wish it was 3-4 songs shorter. It had a natural place to stop earlier. The rest felt like a forced encore. Still love the album.
My dad loves this band. I took some of the records he got before he got rid of it. It's never been able to get into it, due to the very prominent blues in it. That being said, the album was alright. Way better than Little Richard. 3/5 (but higher than LR)
First 5-star album of this journey. It's banger after banger. It's been a while since I heard it, so that was fun.
Familiar with the band, and some of their songs. None of them are on this album, so it's a fresh listen. It's alright, great musicianship. I like track 1 and 3 but nothing memorable.
Went in knowing nothing about this artist/band. I thought it was a whiskey drenched chimney smoking female on vocals, but when I see the band pic it looks like there's a guy on vocals. Sounds like a horney out of tune alley cat. It's unbearable. I'm sure Pitchfolk loves it. From "Goddess On A Hiway" and onwards the album became better. Some of it reminded me of David Lynch's music. 1st half was bad, 2nd half saved it. I can be charitable and give it a 3/5
This band came out of the gate swinging and flinging shit. Love the drive, the youthful energy, and attitude. Kind of a swinging The Hives. It's a 4.75/5 album, so I have to round it up 5 here
Just finished cleaning up after a family dinner with lots of kids and chaos. HOW did you know I needed this album right now? Familiar with his name, but not his work. I absolutely love what I hear so far. The melodies are mending my tired ass
It was alright, but not my cup of tea. I am from the 80s, but have no nostalgic linked to this one
I'm familiar with the name, but not his music. It's pretty obvious he was extremely inspired by the Beatles for this stuff. I googled him to check if my suspicions were right, and they were. Also he was stabbed to death. That's terrible! I give it a 3/5
Two Verve albums on this list, and I've barely started? What are the odds? Let's see why they deserved two entries! Yeah, another great album. Solid quality all the way through. 4/5
Epic album, been listening to it for a long time. Struggled to not walk with attitude on my walk to get my car from the repair shop.
Oh no, I can't stand this old-timey music. Gotta push through. I hear the musicianship and all that, but it's so so boring. Only made it through disc 1 2/5
Not my fave Miles album, but I appreciate it was short and good.
Great album, not my favorite Soundgarden album, so I'm saving that full score for badmotorfinger
Glad to finally hear the album that sparked the black metal movement! It's like a more evil motorhead. Great stuff
I have heard songs by The Cure before, and liked it. That didn't change here. What a solid album from start to finish
Oh crap, another old timey album. I hate this. It's so boring... I hear it will be a 2/5 album. I know it's part of the music evolution and all, but I can't force myself to like this stuff.
Less off a snooze than I thought going into it. It's not for me, but the songwriting seems interesting enough. Too many sappy love songs. 3/5
Wow, what a pleasant discovery! Never heard of them, which I find strange. At times it reminds me of Tera Melos/Bygones that came long after
It is what it is... not for me. I have the intergalactic album, but never listen to it
That's a beegees I wasn't aware of. No ball squeezing disco walks on this one. It's more Beatles leaning. It's alright, but not an album I will revisit. If I could I would give it a 3.5/5
The Eric Clapton band. Sounds alright. Song writing more entertaining than most of the music coming out around that time. Not beating The Beatles
Listening on headset, and it's super annoying to have the drums hard panned to the right. What a dumb choice. The music is fun, but the panning ruins it
I don't like music in my own language, and Spanish/Portuguese is even worse. I don't like how it sounds in songs. Never have. Instruments sounds alright. Appreciate there's no reggaeton beats at least. Is he even known outside the latin scene!? I jumped ship half way through. There's no way I would appreciate the album more in the 2nd half, so continuing would be a waste of time. Sorry mr. Milton. Look at the bright side, I'm now listening to Mike Patton's Italian Mondo Cane, and actually like it way more than before. I give Mondo Cane 4/5. Thank you mr. Milton
1001 Gen hates me. I'm in a long streak of boring albums that I highly doubt had much impact. There are so many great albums that could be in their places. I'm very close to just deleting this shit. I'm not 80 years old, god damnit! Yeah I'm not finishing this one.
Wilson dies, and this is the next album I get served? Coincidence? I think not! Album is alright, but I've never been able to get into them. Tera Melos is influenced by them, so I appreciate that. 3/5
Hell yes, no we're talking! Not my favorite Yes album, but man is it an enjoyable listen. Relative to most of what I've heard so far here, this album is a f***ing 11 out of 5.
Meh
Yes!!!
The rollin stone temple guns n roses. No wonder I keep mixing them up. Don't think I've heard these guys before, though. It's alright. At times very Beatles inspired. Made of stone gave me a nostalgic feeling in the chorus for some reason. I think it reminds me of another song I can't remember right now. Oooooh, Fools gold. So I HAVE heard stone roses before. Bold move to save it till the last track. Not sure what to give it. It's too good for a 3, but not good enough for a 4. I put it as 3, but it's actually 3.5.
