Solid 70s rock album with some soul sprinkled on top.
Great synth and guitar riffs marred by shallow lyrics. This is as 80s rock as it gets.
Ace of Spade is one of the best rock songs of all time... the rest of the album is ok.
I have never listened to much of Pixies in the past, but listening to Doolittle start to finish makes me understand the fandom... this is a masterpiece in Alt Rock.
Bowie's brilliance is (as always) on full display. Reinventing himself with electronic sounds. How many Masterpiece records can one artist have? If that artist is David Bowie, a lot.
It's a 5, but you already knew that.
The Boss's solo album is minimal and heartfelt, only a couple of dud songs keep this from being 5 stars.
Funky 70s sound track, really fun listen
Good instrumental album. Lots of improvisation.
I am a fan of U2's albums up until this. This is what is sounds like when you strip out any creativity to appeal to the masses. Just a bland mess. Could not finish.
Not really my thing. RIP
Perfect Album from start to finish, not a second of wasted space.
Not the typical genre I would listen to, but the song writing was really solid for it's time.
there are a few bangers on here, everything else is good electro-pop, solid over all
14 songs in 33 minutes... Punk at it's best
One of the greatest song writers in history? Yes please.
Listening to this album on headphones is rough. There are a lot of sounds that are harsh and fatiguing. Also, it sounds like this album was meant to be listened to in Mono, which I switched to half way through... it helped a lot. It's creative, obviously influential... but the roughness makes it a hard re listen.
Fantastic album, lots of hits and everything else is great.
37 minutes of pure rock. Perfection
