ok but like who hurt you??? eerie dissonance and creepy creative elements i somewhat respect but also feels like they just ran out of ideas at certain points? i kinda just wanted each song to be over. apparently that was the point? felt nothing like “love will tear us apart” the only song by them i actually enjoy

the pirates life is not for me:( upbeat, sounds like they are having fun? +30 song about worms -40 too many voices at once (pirate crew?) -10 only good song is christmasy? -5 overall left very confused. don’t tell me songs about sailing and hauling away to Australia aren’t piratey

“my heart soars with the eagles nest” - michael scott that’s how this album makes me feel. just soaring and grooving. the eagles know how to bring it back to the classy old timey rock sound. i just don’t care for hotel california song because it sounds too tropical, overplayed, and is giving pina colada. but everything else is solid so 4.9 stars😛
