I understand why this band gets dunked on for being very twee. Clearly super influential, there's all sorts of bits in here that show up elsewhere but oof I don't think you're supposed to sit and listen to the Beach Boys, but be doing something else that takes most of your attention, like dancing or driving to the beach.
