certainly unique, elevator music vibes... overall i did not hate my listening experience, at times it was even enjoyable Fav tracks: Epoca - creeping ballroom tango with dancing instrumental on top of swaying strings Santa Maria - energetic (comparatively) with a driving bass line and nice percussion
3.5/5 Never really listened to Beatles much, this is my first time listening to one of their albums end to end. Solid project. I loved the run of tracks in the middle of the album called out below and the closing track. Fav tracks: A Day In The Life - loved the chaotic breaks in this track, listened to it 3x on first spin Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite - psychedelic circus-core, wacky and i like it Within You Without You - in love with the hurdy-gurdy? sitar? and bongos, this track takes me on a journey She's Leaving Home - beautiful song
4/5 repetitive, mindless fun. this album took me back to playing Jet Set Radio when i was a kid. could each track be 2 minutes shorter? yes; but that wouldn't be very funk soul of you, brotha fav tracks: Right Here Right Now Rockafeller Skank Praise You Gangster Trippin Build It Up, Tear It Down In Heaven
4.5/5 seriously impressive album, every track sounds fresh and janelle's performance blows me away. if you told me this released this year i would believe you Fav tracks: Dance or Die, Faster, Cold War, Tightrope, Neon Valley Street
3/5 Tiny Dancer, Razor Face, and Madman are very enjoyable, rest of the album is mid to me
