4.4 stars. Sad and melodic mostly. Does sound like movie music. Beautiful builds. Wish I knew what they were singing about. Etheral and calming yet lively in a way. Does feel like movie music. Good track cohesion for whole album. Ný batterí and Viðrar vel til loftárása are standouts. Not sure which I like more.

4 stars. Even more vulgar than I remember. Album changed the game. Always holds up due to nostalgia reasons. Kinda comical at points. Best: Nothin' But A G Thang Worst: Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat

2.7 Stars Bland. Soft Rock. Pop/Rock with the worst parts of each. Downhill from track 1. I don't get the hype. Best: Where The Streets Have No Name

4.8 stars Amazing album. Hard to believe it came out in 1980. Timeless. Starts high energy and then fades through last 3 tracks. Best: Crosseyed And Painless

4.3 Stars Never heard of this album before today. Pleasantly surprised! Jazzy and funny. David Bowie vibes (Set the Controls for the Heart of the Pelvis). Best: "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Pelvis" Reggie Watts vibes sometimes. Spooky sample in "Something Wicked Comes This Way" Pretty much whole album has Halloween vibes. Trippy Don't really get "Business As Usual", little crazy. Album doesn't end as strong as it begins.

3.8 Stars So British. Britpop. Fast A lot of the same energy/tone throughout. High energy distorted guitar sounds. Shouting or singing? Best Song: "Alright" Worst Song: "We're Not Supposed To"

4.2 Stars "Pump It Up" is a straightforward yet underrated song. He's got a unique sound. Sometimes spooky rock. The Vox organ stands out in some tracks. Sometimes cheesy late 70's 80's sounds: "Lip Service" Best Song: "(I Don't Want To Go To) Chelsea"

4.3 Stars Groundbreaking for Heavy Metal. Drums are fantastic. Heavy electric for guitar. Etheral. Mostly same tone throughout though Best Song: "Changes" Least Metal: "Changes" RIH Ozzy

4 stars Distorted punk. Good opener. Sound is like an early 2000's album. Yet, still kinda bored by the GenX melancholy of it. Kinda annoyed by lead singers voice, sounds like a weak Jeff Tweedy, out of tune. Best Tune: Range Life (by far) Sounds very Wilco starting with Range Life
