1001 Albums Summary

this was fine but i also have no desire to listen to another reggae album any time soon would be a total banger of a listen with a mai tai though

this was absolutely incredible - perfect dark folk for autumn, and i feel like i’ll love it even more if/when i dive into the lyrics. the guitars and strings are so nostalgic to me, and i definitely need to listen to more of his music now

the first album where i could think “hey! i know that song!” a bit samey with the beats at times but some are fun did not know personal jesus was not a johnny cash original i can see why the hits were the hits an interesting and weird experience - didn’t hate it but don’t need to do that again

3.5 - objectively this is made by a VERY talented musician and it was an eclectic album with some cool transitions. that said, there was a clear lack of hooks and none of the songs felt particularly memorable
