Parallel Lines
BlondieSuch a solid record, really no skips. I like the tension between the often very feminine, girly singing and the badass message and instrumentation.

Iconic but honestly not for me. Not a huge punk fan and this album feels like punk dudes doing hip hop. Respect though.
Absolute classic. RIP
This was a great album for this series. Led Zep is one of those great bands I’ve taken for granted and never given a close listen to. This album is the sound of classic rock in my head. It really highlights the link to blues in a way I didn’t appreciate.
I think at least one of these songs has been on every time I've gotten tattooed. That's pretty much the only scenario I like punk, so I'm not rating this too highly. I knew DH Peligro, the drummer. He was a really kind, sweet guy. Very unique dude, fun to hang with. He passed away some years ago, one of those tragic cases that just couldn't stay sober. You could feel that frenetic DK energy in him.
The production surprised me on this one, really solid. You can hear the MPCs everywhere and the guys’ mic presence is great
I need to listen to this band more, great album
I did not like this album. It’s in this weird space between disco and 80s pop but does neither very well. I will say it is very evocative of an era; I can easily picture my mom in a suit with big shoulder pads singing along.
My dad was a diesel mechanic growing up. He used to use this orange pumice hand cleaner to get oil and hydraulic fluid off of his hands. This album sounds like that.
This album changed everything for me. One of my all time favorites.
Every single song sounds exactly the same but honestly it works. Skate punk is the only kind of punk I can hang with for very long.
Lovely earnest little album
The sound of indie sleaze
I’m learning from this series that I love LZ
I had never actually listened to this band before. They’re solid!
