1001 Albums Summary

Sound isn’t particularly impressive and lyrics are simple and lay out the themes for you. Though the string orchestration, and spacy synth stabs do succeed in giving the unique ethereal vibe that they usually go for. It’s a slow burn and grows on you as you go, but I prefer other arcade fire.

So good. They’re much more versatile than you’d think based off their most popular songs. And this album is the epitome of depression.

I should listen to more reggae. After performing a couple bob marley songs, I can confirm it’s hard to be this groovy.

Liked the parts sounding like crowded house and portishead. Shoegaze-y parts are alright too. Liked the first two tracks and then it’s a little repetitive.
