At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Aug 04 2025

Had me dancing and moving with this album. I was reminded of Elvis (though I have not listened to him) in between but then the reality is Elvis himself got inspired from this genre. A truly beautiful listening experience. There's politics, and that politics is necessary. Legendary singing. It's my first time listening to blues probably.

Who's Next by The Who
Aug 05 2025

Although rock, some chords remind of country and some blues/reggae influences. Great listen. There's a whole song my which felt like the "My wife so bad" joke as a song... but I am probably wrong lol. For the time frame, it might suit. Except that song everything was good. Seems like it was on purpose as parody really. Won't get fooled again and the song is over are really good songs.

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears

Everybody wants to rule the world is the one where the straight cooked, but When the wind blows is a great mention. A bunch of beautiful songs about revolution.

Good album. First half is exceptionally good, clocks in beautiful song. I didn't really like the howl-singing in the scientist song but well done. Second half started mid but ended with a bang.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Apr 25 2026

I listened to only the first 3 tracks. But it's a great "jazz"??? album. (I'm really bad at genres.)
