Sheer Heart Attack
QueenBrighton Rock is a solid opener for the album, featuring great guitar work. Leading into "Killer Queen," catchy lyrics and a solid musical structure prevail throughout. Tenement Funster shortly slows down the album before going into an almost eerie Flick of the Wrist. Great transition from Flick of the Wrist to Lily of the Valley, which has a ballady feel. Now I'm Here starts to go back to the classic Queen rock roots with strong guitar and harmonized vocals by the band throughout. In The Lap of the Gods is not my favourite. However Stone Cold Crazy is a perfect example of why I love Queen. Dear Friends is a good filler ballad, but nothing crazy. Misfire has great vibes and is pretty unique to the album. The start of Bring Back That Leroy Brown is almost too fast, good song with oldies vibes. She Makes Me is so far my favourite slower song on the album. Well, I'm happy they revisited In The Lap of the Gods because it's much better than the first version.
