1001 Albums Summary

I think I like this album but it's hard to tell due to the horrendous listening experience of being interrupted 15 times for ads for fuckin Temu.

Loved this album, first half is tune after tune, high tempo & exciting. This reminds me of the gay nightclub all the straight boys want to go to.

Starts good, goes on a bit. Great music to listen to while you banish vampires or enjoy spring break.

Across the lines and behind the wall. The album is at risk of the over played pop songs pigeon holing it as twee and radio 2 but its really a beautiful folk album.

Some great tunes on this and not all the basic stuff we all know.

Probably the most influential album of my life as a drummer. A barnstorming tour de force bursting with revolutionary concepts easily 20 years ahead of their time and of a quality still strived for today. Music fresh as a daisy yet conceived in 1971, it kicks the door down from the first song and doesn't let up.

Just when you thought you were finally getting past your WW2 PTSD, someone makes you listen to this fucking dogshit. "Tragic songs to throw yourself into the canal to" more like.

There are a few moments where I want to love it but overall most of the album is basic noise. It's kind of like a school band where most people can't play their instruments, in a way thats charming but in another way its annoying.

Not exactly the sex pistols and also not the next pistols.

Some good songs but I think this is more nostalgia than actually being great.

I don't think I really liked it when it was new, defo don't like it now its old.

Cloud nine the song is good but the album tails off pretty quick i think.

Amazing album slightly tarnished by the presence of mother

I was ready to hate it but there were a few decent songs on it. Not all the annoying most overplayed hits either.

I hated the cover of this album when it came out, i saw it in hmv and thought "but why would you want to destroy rock and roll?" now I listen to it, its just drop the pressure right?
